WSHCON 2024: DAY 2

About

RSVP

The Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Conference, organised by Safety, Health and Environment National Authority (SHENA), coincides with the World Day for Safety and Health at Work. This global occasion was launched by the International Labour Organization (ILO) in 2003 and is marked on 28th April annually. Its primary aim is to raise awareness on progressive themes and topics related to occupational safety and health. This year, World Day for Safety and Health at Work’s theme focused on a critical issue - the impacts of climate change on occupational safety and health. Faced with the global climate crisis, it's more important than ever to understand how changing weather patterns are affecting working conditions. From heat stress and air pollution to extreme weather events and increased exposure to chemicals, the risks are obvious. Our conference aims to shed light on these challenges as well as explore building cultures of safety in workplaces.
